Jackie Ray Jackson, 68, of St. Clair passed away Monday, January 2, 2017 in Washington.

Mr. Jackson, son of Clarence Jackson and wife Erma nee Palmer was born November 4, 1948 in St. Louis.

He served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam receiving an honorable discharge.

On July 30, 1978 he was united in marriage to Betty Iacona in St. Louis.

Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Jackson and sister Linda McNew.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jackson of St. Clair; two sons, Scott Jackson and wife Stella of Belle and Jackie Jackson of Bland; his mother Erma Jackson of Chesterfield; one sister, Nancy Bengard and husband Mark of Chesterfield; four grandchildren, Sally, Chavi, December and Hope; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
