Jack B. Womble of Sullivan, MO was born October 9, 1929 in Wetumpka, AL.; the son of James Womble and his wife, Ora (nee Thorton).  Jack passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at the age of 93 years.  He was united in marriage to Myrtle Sergeant on May 13, 1970. He was employed at Modern Moving Piano Company before retiring after 40 years of service.  Jack enjoyed dancing, fishing, and was extremely talented at making handcrafted items.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ora Womble; his wife, Myrt Womble; and eight siblings: Clarence Womble, Albert Freeman Womble, James Carl Womble, Doris Mae Steele, Willa Dean Wilbourne, Betty Jo Hammerstead, Vester Earl Womble, and Mary Louise Layton.

Jack is survived by three children: Victoria Womble Baker of Sullivan, Valerie Kaye Womble of Dixon, TN., and Douglas W. Womble of West Frankfurt, IL.; eight grandchildren: Victor R. Owens, Casey M. Owens, Chalet' Atkins, Sheyanne McMahon, Ciara J. Henderson, Tez Henderson, Dustin Womble, and Emily Womble; fourteen great-grandchildren: Kali Rae Owens, Trinity L. Owens, McKayla Owens, McKinley Owens, Tindall L. Atkins, Freese N. Atkins, Livie Rae Atkins, Willow Womble, Mello Owens, Dedmost Knight, Xaver Knight, Zaden Knight, Julius Henderson, and Oakley Womble; and many other relatives and friends.
