Henry Ludwig Vonk, 90, of Owensville passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021 at his home.

Henry, son of Johannes Vonk and wife Elise (Leih) was born February 2, 1931 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

On September 1, 1956 he was united in marriage to Hendrina Brand in Webster Groves.

Henry was an Electronic Technician by trade, gardener and woodworker. Most of all he was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Johannes and Elise Vonk; his wife, Hendrina Vonk and three siblings, Katie Vonk, Roelf Vonk and Gottfried Vonk.

He is survived by three children, Henry Vonk and wife Laura of Owensville, Elizabeth Tullock and husband Charles of Gerald and James Vonk and wife Christa of St. Louis; seven grandchildren, Daniel Vonk, Amy Primeau, Jeremy Vonk, Charles Tullock, Melissa McConnell, Fallon Vonk and Christopher Wallace; thirteen great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
