Henry "Hank" Elliott, 84 of Union passed away Sunday, May 23, 2010 at his home.

Mr. Elliott, son of the late Jack Elliott and wife Ollie nee Young was born October 3, 1925 in Pontotoc, Mississippi.

On April 6, 1951 he was united in marriage to Edna Jones in Paragold, Arkansas.

Mr. Elliott served his country in the United States Army as a cook and truck driver instructor.

He was a 50 year member of the Carpenter's Union Local #1839 and recently earned his 50 year pin and watch.

Mr. Elliott was a member of the American Legion Post 297 and the Union Moose Lodge for 30 plus years.

Playing golf was his favorite pass time.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Ollie Elliott; five brothers, Official Elliott, Lemoise Elliott, Howard Elliott, Leo Elliott and Virgil Elliott; two sisters, Christine Reeves and Delois Traywick; one grandson, Kelly Michael Gray.

Mr. Elliott is survived by his wife, Edna Elliott of Union; three sons, Steve Elliott and wife Barbara of Union, Nick Elliott and wife Diane of St. Peters and Rick Elliott and wife Kristine of Union; two daughters, Deborah Elliott White and husband Dewey of Union and Sherry Salvo and husband Cy of St. Charles; two brothers, Edsell Elliott and wife Allene of Texas and Cleo Elliott of Texas; two sisters, Dace Bockel and husband Earl of Texas and Betty Elliott of Mississippi; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
