Hendrina Maria Vonk (Brand), 89, of Owensville passed away Friday, June 25, 2021 at her home.

Hendrina, daughter of Hendrick Jan Brand and wife Janna Albertina (Abels) was born April 6, 1932 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

On September 1, 1956 she was united in marriage to Henry Vonk in Webster Groves.

Hendrina was an Artistic Quilter, her work has made it's way to many other countries. Most of all she was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

Hendrina was preceded in death by her parents, Hendrik and Janna Brand; six siblings, Bep Brand, Hank Brand, Rule Brand, Martha Brand, Marie Brand and Deri Brand.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Vonk of Owensville; three children, Elizabeth Tullock and husband Charles of Gerald, Henry Vonk and wife Laura of Owensville and James Vonk and wife Christa of St. Louis; one sister, Jancie Brand of the Netherlands; seven grandchildren, Charles Tullock, Melissa McConnell, Daniel Vonk, Amy Primeau, Jeremy Vonk, Christopher Wallace and Fallon Vonk; thirteen great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
