Helen Adams nee Britt 82 of Union passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at her home.

Mrs. Adams was born May 28, 1927 in St. Thomas, Missouri.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Union.

Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Gordon Dingledine; her second husband, Alvin Adams Sr.; three sons, John Dingledine, George Dingledine and Alvin Adams Jr.; many brothers and sisters.

She is survived by one son, Gale Dingledine of St. Clair; one daughter, Lora Jones and husband Rick of Union; one sister, Mildred Buckner of Tucson, AZ; seven grandchildren, Richard Dingledine and wife Brittney of St. Clair, Martin Dingledine and wife Hannah of Washington, George Dingledine and wife Holly of Union, John Dingledine Jr. of St. Joseph, MO, Richard Jones Jr. of Union, Travis Jones and wife Missy of Union and Lisa Dingledine of Jefferson City; six great-grandchildren, Brandon Jones, McKayla Dingledine, Elle Dingledine, Shila Dingledine, Calob Dingledine and Cody Dingledine; other relatives and many friends.
