Garlock

Greg "Catfish" Garlock, 62, of Union passed away Monday, December 30, 2019 at his home.
Greg was born August 20, 1957 in Franklin County, Missouri to Paul Garlock and Marie (Herbig).
He graduated from Owensville High School in 1975 and later graduated from Linn Tech where he studied to be a Tool and Die Machinist.
Greg had a passion for music and attended concerts frequently. He shared his daughters love for St. Louis Cardinals Baseball and enjoyed watching NASCAR. But most of all, he loved nature and being on or in a river or stream every chance he had. He was also an avid arrowhead and fossil hunter and enjoyed making jewelry from his and others finds for his family and friends. He was intrigued with Native American Culture and History.
Greg was a kind, free spirited, generous man with a beautiful smile and contagious laugh. His family was his pride and joy. He found great pleasure in helping others, especially those who he called friend.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Paul & Marie Garlock.
He is survived by his daughter, Sue Anna Garlock and husband Jim Wagner of High Ridge; one brother, Paul Garlock Jr. and wife Jeanne of Fenton; two sisters, Peggy Teterycz of Chicago, IL and Abby Landolt and husband Jack of San Angelo, TX; six grandchildren, Chris, Ryan, Isabella, Alison, Jimmy and Kegan; two great-grandchildren, Levi and Ryan; ex-wife and dear friend, Pamela (Van Sickle) Meadows of Hillsboro; his best friend and dog, Arrowhead; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
