Glenna "Pud" Quick of Sullivan, MO was born March 15, 1930, in Lesterville, MO; the daughter of David "Buck" Wilson and his wife, Nellie (Williams). Glenna passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024, at the age of 94 years.
Glenna was united in marriage to William Harold Quick on May 26, 1950, in Valley Park, MO and the couple was blessed with three children. She was employed by Mercy Hospital in Washington in the housekeeping department for 18 years before her retirement. Glenna was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Church in Villa Ridge. She was a great housekeeper and enjoyed gardening and canning vegetables. Her green beans were legendary, and most of her family refused to eat canned beans after sampling hers. Glenna loved her dogs, and spending time with her family was the highlight of her days. She was extremely loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Glenna was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Quick; her parents, Buck and Nellie Wilson; one brother, Jack Wilson; and one sister, Gladys "Toots" Quick.
She is survived by two sons: David Quick and wife Pat "Jodi" of Jefferson City, and Mark Quick and wife Laura of O'Fallon; one daughter, Nell Schneider and husband Harry of Sullivan; five grandchildren: Nicki Record and husband Ryan, Sadie Quick, Rachel Bennett, Noah Bennett and wife Mariah, and Hailey Bennett; three great-grandchildren: Abby Record, Allison Record, and Owen Umfress, and one on the way; and many other relative es and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Calvary Pentecostal Church in Villa Ridge.
