Obituary

Glen Arnold, 80, of Union, passed away, Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at his home in the comforting presence of his family.

On May 17, 1942, Glen was born to the union of Franklin Arnold & Arline (Lomax) in St. Louis.

Glen was united in marriage to Terry (Sack) (Patton) on June 18, 1979, in Las Vegas.

He worked as a machinist as well as a chemical tester for Ameren for 38 years.

Glen was very much a family man and cherished the quality time he was able to spend with them as well as time with friends. He was a car enthusiast and in his younger years he would drag race; later with his 1968 Camaro. Glen loved being on the green playing several rounds of golf. He had a love for animals but specifically his two adored dogs Zack & Mia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin & Arline Arnold.

Glen is survived by his wife of 43 years, Terry Arnold of Union; two daughters, Michelle McNamara of St. Louis & Karen McNamara and husband Tim of St. Louis; two stepsons, R. Todd Sack and wife Deanna of Fenton & Steve Sack and significant other Angel Schneider of St. Clair; two sisters, June Ross and husband Ray of Arkansas & Deborah Arnold and husband Vitit Kantabutra of Idaho; nine grandchildren, Nicole McNamara of St. Louis and Timmy McNamara of St. Louis, Steven Sack Jr. and wife Tanya of Villa Ridge, Skylar Sack and wife Lindsay of Union, Ryan Sack of St. Louis, Addison Schneider of St. Clair, Sommer Schneider of St. Clair, Parker Schneider of St. Clair & Peighton Schneider of St. Clair; four great-grandchildren, Bailey Sack, Zoey Sack, Leela Sack & Logan Sack; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
