Geraldine Major nee Conaway, 72 of Union passed away Sunday, May 13, 2012 at her home.

Mrs. Major, daughter of the late Hollie Conaway and wife Berniece nee Bell was born August 23, 1939 in Dent County, Missouri.

On April 12, 1958 she was united in marriage to Hal Major in Salem, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hollie and Berniece Conaway; one brother, Jerry Conaway; three sisters, Janice Ayers, Judy Woodcock and Gary Conaway.

Mrs. Major is survived by her husband Hal Major of Union; two sons, Lendy Major and wife Kristin of Union and Terrence G. Major and wife Audra of Union; three sisters, Joyce Golden and husband David of Boss, Missouri, Ruth Henry and husband Larry of Silex, Missouri and Cleo Conaway of Union; seven grandchildren, Tony Major and wife Beth, Shaun Major, Terrence Major, Timmy Major, Jesse Major, Sarah Major and John Major; four great-grandchildren, Tabitha Major, Emma Major, Jackson Major and Landon Major; other relatives and many friends.
