Gerald Zimmer, 69 of Union passed away, Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at his home.

He was born July 15, 1942 in Washington, Missouri. Mr. Zimmer worked at Pauwels Transformers in Washington until his retirement.

He enjoyed spending time with friends at the Union Senior Center.

Mr. Zimmer was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Frances Zimmer; two brothers, Leeander Zimmer and Clifford Zimmer; one sister, Shelby Zimmer Cantrell. He is survived by two nieces, Cindy Crites and husband Ray of St. Peters and Tammy Wellington of Valley Park; other relatives and many friends.
