George Henry Jones of Union, MO passed away Monday, May 22, 2023 at the age of 92 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Margaret (Harms) Jones; two brothers: Ernest Jones and Anthony Jones; eight sisters: Gertrude Jones, Ruth Butler, Augusta Todd, Bertetta Enloe, Olive Hoyt, Josephine Sohn, Margaret Kroeter, and Virginia Lindemann; and one son-in-law, Paul Gould.

George is survived by his loving wife, Shirley (Tessmer) Jones of Union; two daughters: Debi Gould of House Springs, and Tamra Yglesia and husband Rex of Festus; eight grandchildren: Jamie Berkel and husband Benjamin, Dustin Gould and wife Lindsay, Ryan Hoeft and wife Amanda, Christopher Gould, Ashley Yglesia, Jared Yglesia, Jordan Yglesia, and Lukus Yglesia; eight great-grandchildren: Ryker Broyles, Jace Kamper, Payton Hoeft, Makenzie Gould, Landen Hoeft, Avery Berkel, Adilynn Gould, and Halle Berkel; one sister, Dorothy Wieda; and many other relatives and friends.
