Fritz A. Fischer Jr., 68, of Union passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 in Washington.

Mr. Fischer, son of the late Fritz A. Fischer Sr. and wife Mary nee Seals was born January 3, 1949 in Washington.

On May 29, 1971, he was united in marriage to Mary Jensen in Union.

As a hobby, he was a talented woodworker, making bird houses, picnic tables and washer boxes as well as many other items. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing for catfish and running trout lines.

Mr. Fischer was preceded in death by his parents, Fritz Sr. and Mary Fischer; brother, Ted Schuttenberg and sister Mary Hammock.

He is survived by his wife Mary Fischer of Union; three sons, William Fischer and wife Carla of Washington, Walter Fischer and wife Renee of Union and Robert Fischer and wife Sonia of Union; one daughter, Mary Miller and husband Marty of Union; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
