Fred Joseph Goode, 59, of Union passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at his home.

On December 14, 1961 Fred was born to the union of Albert Goode and Catherine (Wease) in St. Louis.

Fred attended Eureka Junior High.

He worked as a residential and commercial roofer and was member of the Local 2 Union.

Fred was united in marriage to Karen (Moore) on July 14, 1986 in Eureka.

He was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Eureka.

Fred enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. In his younger years he like working on cars. Fred was always willing to help someone. Most of all Fred loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Goode; two brothers, William Goode and Stephen Goode; one sister, Rose Thompson.

Fred is survived by his wife of 34 years Karen Goode of Union; his mother and father-in-law, Catherine Moore and husband Howard of Union; one son, Benjamin Goode of Hawaii, three daughters, Amanda Miles and husband Jordan of Gerald, Jessica Bagwell and husband Michael of Eureka and Deborah Goode of Union; one brother, Ronald Lee Goode and wife Barbara of O'Fallon; three step-brothers, Leslie Moore of Union, Ronald Dale Moore and wife Carol of New Mexico and Douglas Moore and wife Shirley of St. Clair; two sisters, Margaret Chambless of South County and Pamela Pettibone and husband Michael of St. Charles; seven grandchildren, Austin Moore, Rebecca Bagwell, Savannah Goode, Madison Miles, James Bagwell, Joanna Bagwell and Archer Goode; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
