Franklin "Frank" Ray Edwards of Leslie formerly of Lonedell passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at his home.

Frank, son of Frank T. Edwards and wife Christine (Gentry) was born September 15, 1946 in Caruthersville, Missouri.

On April 1, 1967 he was united in marriage to Carolyn Swanstrom in Proctor, Minnesota.

Frank served his country in the United States Air Force for six years receiving an honorable discharge. He was a member of the American Legion in St. Clair for many years.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank T. and Christine Edwards; one brother, Delbert Dewayne Edwards; one sister, Carolyn Mae Schwartz and grandson, Jack Cable.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Elizabeth Edwards of Leslie; five children, Franklin Jay Edwards of St. Clair, Bonita Lynn Edwards of Sullivan, Marolyn Elizabeth Pinnell and husband Adam of Leslie, Christine Marie Cable and husband Jon of Lonedell and Sean Edwards and wife Katie of Lonedell; two brothers, Eddie Lavelle Edwards and wife Dawn of Park Hills and Ralph Quintin Edwards and wife Carol of Warrenton; one aunt, Georgia Gentry; best friend and dog, Candy; twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the American Kidney Fund 11921 Rockville Pike, Ste. 300, Rockville, MD 20852 are preferred.
