Obituary

Franklin B. Nash, 81, of Gerald, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021 at Stone Bridge in Owensville.

On September 10, 1939 Franklin was born to the union of Henry Nash and Goldia (Griffin) in Bonne Terre.

He received his education from Bonne Terre High School.

Franklin proudly served his country in the United States Army and Navy. He served in three separate wars: Korea, Vietnam and Dessert Storm.

He worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for McDonnell Aircraft as well as St. Charles School District.

Franklin was a member of St. Paul UCC in Gerald.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, farming and being in the country.

Franklin was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Goldia Nash; his wife, Katherine Nash; son, Corey Nash; one niece, Marcia Perry.

He is survived by his sister, Shirley Cook and husband Ronnie of Oklahoma; friend, Martha Nix and husband Daniel of Gerald; two nieces, Missy Willard and husband Todd of Oklahoma and Angie Pennington of Oklahoma; other relatives and many other friends.
