Frances Nell Vancil nee Gales, 80, of Union passed away Monday, March 6, 2017at her home.

Mrs. Vancil, daughter of the late Robert Gales and wife Ella Ora Mae nee Moore was born July 26, 1936 in New Madrid County, Missouri.

On March 4, 1955, she was united in marriage to Connie Dale Vancil in Orlando Hydeaway, Mississippi.

Mrs. Vancil was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Olla Gales; her husband, Connie Dale Vancil; one brother, Charles Gales and one sister, Maryann Ligons.

She is survived by five sons, Eddie Vancil and wife Geri of Pacific, Sammy Vancil and Stan of Arnold, James Vancil of Union, Andy Vancil and wife Myota of Union and Robert Vancil and wife Laura of Washington; one daughter, Joanie Putman of Union; one brother, Bobby Gales and wife Alene of Arizona; two sisters, Wanda Elder of St. Louis and Darlene Wallace and husband Lindell of St. Louis; twelve grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
