Frances Louise Ignacio (Wright), 84, of St. Clair, Missouri, passed away on March 25, 2026.
Frances was born on September 21, 1941, in Mexico, Missouri, to the late Sherwood Wright and Dorothy Rowden (Lynn).
On September 21, 1985, she was united in marriage to Abraham K. Ignacio.
Frances dedicated her life to caring for others. She earned her GED and became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) through Columbia Public Schools. She worked at the Medical Center and Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, where she served as a manager in sterile processing. She later worked as a consultant for ISH, traveling throughout the United States and even Bermuda. Through her work, she formed many lifelong friendships.
Frances loved her family and friends deeply. She always made time to listen, care, and show love to those around her. She will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and the lasting impact she made on so many lives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, Abraham K. Ignacio; her daughter, Teresa Wright; and sons, AK Ignacio Jr., and Stanley K. Rodrigues.
She is survived by her children, Michael E. Wright, Mark A. Wright, John A. Ignacio, Nancy Galuppi, Nani Fudge, Marianne Duchardt, and Meg Gianfagna; her brother, Roger Wright; her sisters, Betty Hassein, Connie Orr, Elaine Smith, Sandy Wright, and Robyn Boyce; along with 25 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Franklin County Humane Society.
