Forrest Hatfield, of Leslie, passed away at his home on Saturday 14, 2026, at the age of 92.  He was born in Swartz Creek, Michigan, to the union of Orville and Vina (Abbott) Hatfield, on December 30, 1933.

He married the love of his life, Beverly Smothers, on November 22, 1969, in Leslie. Forrest retired from General Motors after 30 years of service of which the majority of those years being at the St Louis assembly facility but completed his career at the Corvette assembly facility in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

In his spare time, he loved to spend time outdoors, fishing in the local lakes or along the Bourbeuse River.

Forrest was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Vina Hatfield; two children, Karen Viviano and Roger Hatfield.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Beverly Hatfield of Leslie; son, Robert Hatfield of Union; grandchildren, Jessica, Roger, Filmore, Becky, Stephanie and Orlando; sisters-in-law, Lana Hatfield and Vera Hatfield; brother-in-law, Oliver Anglemeyer; other relatives and many friends.

It was by the wishes of Forrest, that there will be no services.
