Floyd Fredrick Generally was born in St. Clair, Missouri on June 7, 1952 and so began the life of the man that the people gathered here today were proud to call, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. Floyd is the fourth child of ten, born to John Matthew and Dorothy Evelyn Generally who have preceded him in going home to be with the Lord. Floyd is the first of his siblings to be called home to be with the Lord. His battle with cancer is over. Floyd was united in matrimony to Yolanda Buril in 1977 and from that union was born their only child. He leaves to mourn his homegoing his son Eugene, daughter in law Felisha and his only grandchild Corinne. He is also survived by five brothers: John (Belinda), Richard (Terry), Joseph (Christine), Edward and Matthew (Shanta); four sisters: Rosie (Welton) Brison, Priscilla (Joseph) Jefferson, Donna (Owen) Caldwell and Teana Generally and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Floyd lived in San Antonio Texas for 20 years of his life and returned home for the last 20 years. He was then, and always was, a solid, reliable all-round good guy, someone you felt at ease with, someone that you instinctively knew you could trust and rely on. Floyd was always a happy, contented man who never wanted much out of life just simple quiet pleasures. He loved sharing his life with his family, going fishing, barbequing, and just having a good time. Floyd was a very sociable person with many friends. He was well liked and respected, someone you could confide in and ask for advice. Someone we have all had the great privilege of knowing. He will be missed greatly.
