Florence Vondracek nee Kamper, 77 of Union passed away Thursday, January 16, 2014 in Washington. Mrs. Vondracek, daughter of the late Julius Kamper and wife Mary nee Downey was born August 9, 1936. On April 7, 1962 she was united in marriage to Donald Vondracek in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Mrs. Vondracek was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Mary Kamper; one sister, Dorothy Maciejewski. She is survived by her husband, Donald Vondracek of Union; one son, Wayne Vondracek and wife Tamara of Desoto; three brothers, Johnnie Kamper and Sheila of Union, David Kamper and wife Carol of Union and Harvey Kamper and wife Debbie of Union; three sisters, Shirley Schuttenberg of St. Clair, Judy Krekel and husband Dale of Union and Leona Kamper and husband Bob of St. Clair; three grandchildren, Erica Shultz of St. James, Michelle Vondracek of St. Clair and Kristie Vondracek of Vienna; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
