Florence Steen - Spindler nee White, 87 of Union passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010 in Union.

Mrs. Spindler, daughter of the late William White and wife Lydia nee Ratliff was born October 21, 1922 in Bourbon, Missouri.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ of Union.

Mrs. Spindler was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lydia White; her first husband, William Steen; her second husband, Henry Bishop; her third husband, John Spindler; one sister, Evelyn McDowell; one granddaughter, Karen Cash Wheeler.

She is survived by two sons, Billy L. Steen and wife Carole of St. Charles and John Steen of Rapid City, South Dakota; two daughters, Judy Nickelson-Budde and husband Doug of Florissant and Carol Cash and husband Punch of Union; one sister, Ruth Kent of Ironton; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
