Eunice J. (Terschluse) Luehrs, 90, of Washington passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018 in New Haven.

Mrs. Luehrs, daughter of the late Alfred Terschluse and wife Agnes (Brinker) was born January 9, 1928 in Washington.

On February 14, 1948 she was united in marriage to Arthur F. Luehrs in St. Louis.

Eunice was of the Christian Faith and member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Washington.

She enjoyed sewing, cooking and being in the outdoors. She spent time working in her home garden growing flowers and vegetables. Most of all she devoted her life to her family.

Mrs. Luehrs was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Agnes Terschluse; her husband, Arthur F. Luehrs; two grandchildren, Joey Luehrs and Danny Luehrs; brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Arthur Luehrs and wife Brenda of Washington and Lindsey Luehrs and wife Lisa of Washington; one daughter, Inge Jaeger of Washington; seven grandchildren, Julie Schmitz and husband Justin of Lyon, William Luehrs of Washington, Justin Fuse of Washington, Cindy Kancijanic and husband Tony of St. Louis, Katie Shoemaker of Washington, Michael Jaeger of Washington and Lexi Jaeger of Washington; nine great-grandchildren, Noah, Jack, Aubrey, Meredith, Rylie, Easton, Allie, Leiam and Ethan; brothers; sisters; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
