Obituary

Esther M. Grob, 97, of St. Clair, passed away on March 27, 2026. She was born on September 8, 1928, in Rosebud, the daughter of William Limberg and his wife, Alda Mae (Stradford). She was united in marriage to Donald Grob in 1947, at Leslie Methodist Church, he preceded her in death in 2012.

Esther was the owner of "Back To Nature" health food store in St. Clair for many years, in addition to being a business leader with Shaklee products for over fifty years.  She took great pridein her work. She was known for encouraging a healthy lifestyle and sharing her knowledge with others.

She loved cooking and always enjoyed preparing good, nutritious meals. Esther believed in taking care of both body and mind. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Esther and Don were known to many local residents for providing a meal, clothes or a space to sleep when it was needed.

Esther is survived by her daughters, Patricia Recker of St. Louis and Deborah (Bill) Bleckman of Rolla; her brother, Don Limberg (Mary) of Beaufort; her grandchildren, Matthew Recker of Tennessee, Brian Bleckman (Teresa) of Rolla, Lori Lunceford (Ben) of Rolla; her great-grandchildren, Cynthia Chalmers (Adam), Taylor Bleckman, Hannah Bleckman, Brooke Bleckman, and Shelby Heavin; along with many other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-five years, Donald Grob; her parents, William and Alda Mae Limberg; her brothers, Ed Limberg, Milford Limberg, and Amil Limberg; and her sisters, Emma Grob, Della Bergman, and Elsie Schulte.

Esther will be remembered for her kindness, her strong values, and the love she shared with her family and friends.
