Elsie Jane Riley nee Lack, 94 of St. Clair passed away Monday, May 2, 2016 at her home.

Mrs. Riley, daughter of the late Harry Lack and wife Pauline nee Stricker was born July 24, 1921 in St. Clair.

On June 1, 1962 she was united in marriage to William J. Riley in St. Clair.

Elsie enjoyed sewing, cooking and camping with friends and family.  Everyone loved her company and deep conversations.

Mrs. Riley was preceded in death her parents, Harry and Pauline Lack; one son, Richard Hemker; two daughters, Dorothy Nappier and Helen Moss; three brothers, Howard Lack, Paul Lack and Monroe Lack and four sisters, Alma Reed, Edith Cahill, Mabel Hall and Alvina Hopkins.

She is survived by her husband, William J. Riley of St. Clair; one son, David Hemker of St. Clair; two daughters, Norine Monroe and husband David of Pacific and Lynnette Weiss and husband David of Union; one sister, Marie Hinson of St. Clair; grandchildren, Jennifer Weiss of St. Clair, Chris Weiss of Osage Beach, Jaquilyn Tague of Fenton and Rick Hemker of St. Clair; many more grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
