Obituary

Elsie Gage (Allen), 89, of St. Clair, passed away, Sunday, January 30, 2022, in Marshfield in the presence of her family.

On August 21, 1932, Elsie was born to the union of Daniel Allen and Dolly (Gordon) in Doniphan, Missouri.

Elsie was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in St. Clair and a former member of the Victory Baptist Church in Florrisant.

She enjoyed doing embroidery, shopping and going to garage sales. Most of all Elsie very much loved her family and being with them any chance she could. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Elise was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Gage; her parents, Daniel and Dolly Allen; eight siblings; one grandson, Phillip Williams.

She is survived by her two sons, Thomas L. Gage of Greenville and James Gage and wife Dawn of Doniphan; three daughters, Deloris Crane and husband James of St. Clair, Pamela Gage of Marshfield; Deborah Griffin and husband Donald of St. Louis; one sister, Dessie Barker of Indiana; one brother, Jessie Allen and wife Loretta of Indiana; nine grandchildren, Kelly (Williams) Jones, Timothy Williams, Kari (Mann) Harles, Charles Mann, Larry Swangarium, Carl Swangarium, Daniel Gage, Kristopher Clark and Lori (Clark) Zuckerman; fifteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
