Edward D. Walker, 73 of Union passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013 at his home.

Mr. Walker, son of the late Harold Walker and wife Sylvia nee Presley was born January 24, 1940 in St. Louis.

He was an avid wood crafter making cabinetry, furniture and anything out of wood.

He also fine tuned his wood working with the art of wood burning.

His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his pride and joy.

He had raised and provided for two grandchildren during his life.

Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jeanette Walker and two brothers, Harold Cuddy and Roy Walker.

He is survived by two sons, David Walker and wife Linda of Arnold and Edward Walker, II of Union; four daughters, Nancy Walker of Festus, Kathy Walker and special friend Mike O'Black of Pevely, Cathy Mitchell and husband Shawn of Union and Susan Brown of St. Louis; grandchildren, Edward Walker, III and Nicholas Walker and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Frank Walker; other relatives and many friends.
