Edward Augustus Lewis Jr., 67, of St. Louis formerly of Union passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 in St Louis.

Edward, son of Edward Augustus Lewis Sr. and wife Katherine Dale (Thomas) was born March 13, 1954 in St. Louis.

Edward served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Korea. He received an honorable discharge for his service.

He worked as a school bus driver in Union before working for SSM Central Laundry as a truck driver until his retirement.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Sr. and Katherine Lewis and his sister, Beverly Lewis.

He is survived by his son, Christopher Lewis and fiancé Marlene Davis of Crystal City; one daughter, Susan Ann Lewis of New York, New York; fiancé, Anna Hennings of St. Louis; four grandchildren, Christina Jarvis of Union, Demetri Howard and wife Tabatha of New York, Alexis Smith of New York and Timothy Smith of New York; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial donations to the family are preferred.
