Edna Susan Treece nee Burks, 58 of Union passed away Monday, March 18, 2013 in St. Clair.

Mrs. Treece, daughter of Jesse and Nellie Burks was born December 3, 1954 in St. Louis.

On April 18, 1992 she was united in marriage to Robin Treece in Salem.

She worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant, Restorative Therapy at Cedar Crest Manor for twenty years and The New Haven Care Center for the last fifteen years. Mrs. Treece was a faithful member of the Union Baptist Temple.

She was preceded in death by her father Jesse Burks.

Mrs. Treece is survived by her husband, Robin Treece of Union; four sons, Joshua Treece and fiancé Sarah Pearson of Rolla, Gabriel Thoms of Union, Mike Thoms of Union and Jacob Treece of Warrensburg; three daughters, Helena Thoms and fiancé Matt Cothern of St. Clair, Amber Treece and fiancé Judson Ball of Columbia and Gloria Thoms of Union; her mother, Nellie Burks of St. Clair; two brothers, Paul Burks and Jimmy Burks both of Union; four, sisters, Donna Burks of St. Clair, Lorraine Huntsman and husband Paul of St. Clair, Mary PaHerson of Arkansas and Angie Fuechee of Tennessee; six grandchildren, Madison Richards, Ashley Kibler, Nadia Thoms, Sarah Lenox, Summer Cothern and Dakota Harrison; one great-granddaughter, Molly; other relatives and many friends.
