Eddie Dale Jacobs, 62, of Union, passed away suddenly, Monday, September 13, 2021.

On June 16, 1959, Eddie was born to the union of Henry Jacobs and Ettie "Arlene" (Presnell) in St. Louis.

Eddie graduated from St. Clair High School in 1977.

He earned his associates degree from I.T.T Tech.

Eddie worked from July 1983 to February 2012 at R.K. T.V. and Electronics.

He enjoyed being outdoors; kayaking, shooting guns, taking nature walks and mushroom hunting. He was a handy man and could fix almost anything whether it was machinery or simple things. He enjoyed any opportunity to be with his grandkids and his family. Eddie will be missed by those who loved and knew him.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Ettie "Arlene" Blanton, his first wife, Janice LaChance.

He is survived by his three daughters, Alicia Copeland and husband Casey of Union, Brittany Carrier and husband Robert of Union and Courtney Jacobs of St. Ann; his girlfriend, Gloria Harshfield; her children, Joanna Lane of Nevada and Juliette Mae Harshfield of Minnesota; former stepson, Shaun Patredis; brother, Mark Blanton and wife Kim of St. Clair; sister, Debbie Duffer and husband David of Illinois; half-siblings, Tim Jacobs, Jennifer McCann and Kate Walker; grandchildren, Alaina Owens, Audrey Copeland and Adrienne Copeland all of Union; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
