Eddie Lavell Edwards, 66 of Park Hills passed away Friday, December 12, 2025, in St. Charles.
Eddie, son of Frank Edwards and wife Christine (Gentry) was born February 22, 1959, in St. Louis.
On June 10, 2013, he was united in marriage to Dawn Barbier in St. Francois County, Missouri.
Eddie had a strong work ethic and was the definition of a hard worker. He was employed as a Pipe Fitter at Prime Design and Lee Mechanical then retired in 2023.
He was a hard-core Kansas City Chiefs Football Fan and enjoyed watching hockey. He enjoyed rock music and listening to K-She 95. Eddie used his mechanical skills to work on cars, fix lawn mowers and do home repairs, always helping family and friends with this. It was well known that Eddie enjoyed eating and being outdoors. Eddie was a believer and loved the Lord. Most of all he loved his family very much and never missed a chance to be at the grandkid's sporting events.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Christine Edwards; one son, Edward Ray Edwards;
two brothers, Franklin Ray Edwards and Delbert Dewayne Edwards and one sister, Carolyn Mae
Schwartze.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Dawn Edwards of Park Hills; eight children, Jennifer Webers and husband
Herman of Bonne Terre, Jeremy Ruch of Bonne Terre, Sean Edwards and wife Katie of Cadet, Amanda
Edwards (Matt Walton) of St. Clair, Brandon Barbier and fiancé Dannielle of Moscow Mills, Kara Barbier
of Park Hills, Nick Barbier of St. Peters and Amber Daley and husband Sean of Springfield, IL; daughter-
in-law, Viviane Edwards of Doe Run; one brother, Ralph Edwards and wife Carol of St. Louis; one
brother-in-law John Schwartze of Holt Summit; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Edwards of Leslie, and Dana
Edwards of Morison; nineteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives
and many friends.
Memorial donations to the American Stroke Association P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 are
preferred.
