Earl Edward Zweifel Jr., 67 of Sullivan, passed away, Thursday, May 25, 2023, at his home in Sullivan.

On December 30, 1955, Earl was born to the union of Earl Edward Zweifel Sr. and Edna Bessie (McGee) in St. Louis, Missouri.

Earl received his education from Union High School.

He worked many years as a talented handy man, but most recently retired from Mainline Trucking.

Earl enjoyed singing karaoke, horseback riding and in his younger years working on the farm. Most of all Earl loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Sr. and Edna Zweifel.

Earl is survived by his four sons, Joseph Zweifel and wife Michelle of High Ridge, Nicholas Zweifel and wife Rachel of Bourbon, Joshua Zweifel and wife Candice of Troy and Earl Edward Zweifel III of Robertsville; three daughters, Danielle Casarotto of Cuba, Aimee Jones-Halbert and husband Scott of Cuba and Caity Zweifel of Sullivan; three sisters, Shirley Hayes of Beaufort, Linda Helm of Union and Tammy Vemmer and husband Jeff of Union; nineteen grandchildren, Zoey, Mackenzie, Audrey, Sydney, Taylor and boyfriend Jeremy, Maggie, Anna, Adrien and husband Zane, Finn, Grayce, Austin and wife Grace, Cason, Aiden, Lane and fiancé Leah, Jackson Earl, Max, Nora, Mia and Noah; four great-grandchildren, Braxton, Cole, Laila and Maggie Lynn; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
