Earl Wayne Gibson of Marthasville, MO passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the age of 70 years. He was born on August 8, 1954, in Bonne Terre, MO; the son of Ethel Gibson.

Earl attended school in Union, MO and became a loyal employee of Proffer Produce for 25 years.  He was married to Sharon (Smith) on March 10, 1972, and two children, John and Jennifer, blessed their marriage. Earl loved to travel and driving a semi-truck as an over-the-road truck driver was an excellent way for him to see the country.  He loved being on the water fishing, eating, camping, and spending time with his family and loved ones.

Earl was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Gibson; his twin brother, Jerry Gibson; and one sister, Connie Giardina.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Gibson of Marthasville; one son, John Gibson of Marthasville; one daughter, Jennifer Zeh and husband Jonathan of Marthasville; five grandchildren: Jessica Zeh, Alissa Zeh, Clara Zeh, Emma Zeh, and Jonathan Zeh, all of Marthasville; two sisters: Debby Magee of Jefferson City, and Susie Davis of St. Charles; and many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Earl Gibson will be held at a later date.
