Dorothy Rutsch nee Morris, 88 of Washington passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011 at her home.

Mrs. Rutsch, daughter of Lloyd and Hazel Morris was born January 13, 1923 in St. Louis.

Dorothy worked as a secretary for a law firm in St. Louis for many years.

Her final job as a secretary was at the University of Missouri St. Louis where she retired.

On June 12, 1986 she was united in marriage to Albert Rutsch. They spent 25 years together, square dancing, golfing, floating the Bourbeuse River, traveling the U.S.A. and enjoying life with each other. After retirement they relocated to Mission, Texas.

In 2009 they returned to Washington, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Hazel Morris; her first husband, Arthur McKinney and brother-in-law, Howard Mitchell.

Mrs. Rutsch is survived by her husband, Albert Rutsch of Washington; one son, Doug McKinney and wife Shirley of Marthasville; one daughter, Linda Williams and husband Wayne of Pittsburg Pennsylvania; one sister, Marion Mitchell of Florida; five grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; niece, Laurie; nephew, Eric; other relatives and many friends.
