Dorothy F. Hancock-Story nee Smith, 83 of Union passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011 at her home.

Dorothy, daughter of the late John Smith and wife Carrie nee Ford was born August 7, 1927 in Ellington, Missouri.

She was united in marriage to Walter Hancock until his passing in 1977 and then united in marriage to Bill Story until his passing in 1998.

Mrs. Story was preceded in death by her parents, John and Carrie Smith; her first husband, Walter Hancock; her second husband, Bill Story; one brother, Reverend Thomas Smith and three sisters, Lucille Brawley; Helen Williams and Shirley Shoemaker.

She is survived by three sisters, Opal Burnham of Jennings, Evelyn May of Union and Edna Miller and husband Gary of Gerald; sister-in-law, Marilyn Smith of Terre Haute, IN; nephews; nieces; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
