Dorothy M. Ford nee Schallon, 86 of St. Clair passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 in St. Clair. Mrs. Ford, daughter of the late Christ Schallon and wife Della nee Currie was born October 19, 1929 in St. Louis. On April 12, 1947 she was united in marriage to Leroy Ford in St. Louis. Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by her parents, Christ and Della Schallon; her husband, Leroy Ford and her son, Randell Ford. She is survived by four sons, Leroy Ford and wife Mary Grace of St. Louis, Steven Ford and wife Sandy of Union, Christ Ford and wife Marian of Cuba and Kirby Ford of Gore Springs, MS; three daughters, Laura Ford of St. Clair, Linda Ford of St. Clair and Maggie Ford of Phoenix, AZ; one sister, Idella Whitiker of Indianapolis, IN; daughter-in-law, Sue Ford of Rosebud; six grandchildren, Christ Ford Jr., Marie Brown, David Ford, Patricia Ford, Beverly Black and Leroy Ford; ten great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
