Dorothy Copeland Powers nee Harms, 77 of Union passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013 in St. Clair.

Mrs. Powers, daughter of Charles Harms and wife Rose nee Eilers was born November 26, 1935 in Franklin County.

She received her schooling at Union High School and graduated Cosmetology College in St. Louis to start her career as a beautician.

After working as a beautician in the Union area she was employed at Hazel Manufacturing where she retired in 1993.

She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Villa Ridge.

Mrs. Powers was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Rose Harms, her first husband, Dorsey "Dude" Copeland; her second husband, Bobby Powers; one brother Donald Charles Harms.

She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Narup and husband Charlie of Union and Deanna Frioli and fiancé Tom Moss of Union; five grandchildren, Jacob Narup and wife Stephanie, Joshua Narup and wife Amy, Wesley Narup, Kayla Frioli and Kody Frioli; great-grandson, Logan Narup; other relatives and many friends.
