Doris Pauline Hicks (Kinkead), 88, of Union, passed away at her home on Sunday, August 14, 2022.

Pauline, as she was known to family and friends, daughter of Earl and Opal (Jett) Kinkead, was born September 22, 1933, in Bland, Missouri.

She was united in marriage to Dwayne Wright Hicks on October 13, 1951, in Salem, Arkansas.

Pauline was a graduate of Owensville High School.  She was a homemaker, spending her life caring for her family.

Pauline enjoyed playing Bingo and loved to read books.  She also enjoyed crafts, art and playing the piano.

She always made Easter and Christmas a special time for her family.  Most of all, Pauline will be remembered for the love for her family and her love for Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Opal Kinkead; husband, Dwayne Wright Hicks; one son, Kirk Wayne Hicks; one sister, Marlene Perry and one brother, Calvin Kinkead.

Pauline is survived by two daughters, Sheila Zwilling and Dave Woodard of St. Clair, Sonia Hicks of Union; one daughter-in-law, Terry Hicks of Washington; eight grandchildren, Gabe Zwilling and wife Liz of O'Fallon, Nicole Bouck and husband Nick of O'Fallon, Layla Burch and husband Matt of Wentzville, Tonya Meyer and husband Dan of Marthasville, Wade Hicks of Washington, Devon Shaw and husband Jake of Indiana, Shawla Barker and husband Ryan of Oregon, Jake Scott and wife Robyn of Cape Girardeau; seventeen great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Private family committal will be held at a later date.
