Donna Marie Burks, 61 of Union passed away Monday, June 9, 2014 in Washington. Ms. Burks, daughter of Jesse Burks, Sr. and wife Nellie nee Gilmore was born November 8, 1952 in St. Louis. She was a faithful member of River of Life Worship Center in St. Clair. She loved all children especially her nieces and nephews. She always help take care of them whenever needed. Ms. Burks was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Burks, Sr.; one brother, Jesse Burks, Jr. and one sister, Edna Treece. She is survived by her mother, Nellie Burks of Union; five siblings, Lorraine Huntsman and husband Paul of St. Clair, Jim Burks of Alabama, Mary Patterson and husband Mark of Arkansas, Paul Burks of Union and Angela Fouchee and husband Kenny of Tennessee; many nieces; many nephews; great nieces; great nephews; other relatives and many friends.
