Donald Frederick Wehmeier Jr. 65, of Union, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023 in the comforting presence of his loving wife.
On May 6, 1958, Don was born to the union of Donald Frederick Wehmeier Sr. and Mary (Leber) in St. Louis, Missouri.
Don was united in marriage to Amy Lou (Buford) on February 7, 2010, at Peaksville Christian Church.
He was a member of the UAW having worked for Chrysler for over 20 years.

He served as Treasurer for the Union Masonic Lodge No. 593 as well as Worthy Patron, Associate Patron, Marshal, Warder, Sentinel and Grand Representative of Australia through Naomi Eastern Star Chapter No. 296.
Don and Amy enjoyed their travels together, having the opportunity to visit, Australia, the Bahamas, Canada, Ireland as well as many of the States in the U.S. One of his most memorable trips was to Strasburg, Pennsylvania to see the largest train museum. As well as Moose Jaw in Saskatchewan. The most beautiful trip for Don was to Banff, Alberta up on the Gondola. Don could make anyone laugh and make anything work. Don was an avid car enthusiast and Cardinal's fan. He had T-shirts, blankets, pillows, shoes, coolers, books, characters and much more in his collection. Channel 671 on the T.V. almost every day or night could be guaranteed to offer a game. Don owned and operated his own construction company and being handy with all sorts of tools and his immense knowledge of construction allowed Don the ability to build the home that he would raise his family in over the years.
