Donald Ralph Nutter, 87 of St. Clair passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 in St. Clair.

Mr. Nutter, son of the late Orie Nutter and wife Josie nee Ross was born December 13, 1928 in Salem West Virginia.

On September 17, 1948 he was united in marriage to Donna McDonald in Salem, West Virginia.

He was a member of the UAW Local 136 in St. Louis and was employed at Chrysler as an Inspector until his retirement in 1987.

Mr. Nutter was a Master Mason of the Masonic Easter Lodge 575 in St. Clair and member of Bethel Baptist Church in Lonedell.

He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, hunting, fishing and especially spending time with his wife, daughter and granddaughters.

Mr. Nutter was preceded in death by his parents, Orie and Josie Nutter; his son, Darrell Nutter; four brothers, Ed Nutter, Orie Nutter, Giles Nutter and Herb Nutter and three sisters, Mildred Nutter, Pauline Lowell and Belva Gain.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Nutter of St. Clair; his daughter, Denise Beasley and fiancé Glen Alsop of St. Clair; three grandchildren, Cara Nutter and fiancé Michael Ikerd of Indianapolis, IN, Amy Nutter-Turney and husband Robert of Alexandra, VA and Rachel Beasley and fiancé Anthony Summers of St. Clair; daughter-in-law, Catherine Dietrich and husband Jacob of Kokomo, IN; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
