Donald R. Grob, 85 of Rolla, formerly of Union passed away Monday, October 8, 2012 in Rolla.

Mr. Grob, son of August C. Grob and wife Maude nee Nolting was born January 30, 1927 in Leslie, Missouri.

On January 30, 1948 he was united in marriage to Esther Limberg in Union.

He served his country in Merchant Marines during World War II and received an honorable discharge. He worked as a Foreman for the State Highway Department for 41 years. Mr. Grob was a member of the Living Waters Fellowship Church in Rolla.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Doris Ford and Minola Mohesky.

Mr. Grob is survived by his wife, Esther Grob of Rolla; two daughters, Patricia Recker of Creve Coeur and Deborah Bleckman and husband William of Rolla; three grandchildren, Matthew G. Recker of Nashville, TN, Brian W. Bleckman and wife Teresa of Rolla and Lori A. Heavin and husband Ward of Rolla; five great-grandchildren, Cynthia Recker, Taylor Bleckman, Brooke Bleckman, Hannah Bleckman and Shelby Heavin; other relatives and many friends.
