Donald E. Blanton, 83, of St. Clair passed away Thursday November 12, 2020 at his home.

On February 7, 1937 Donald was born to the union of Waring Blanton and Florence (Bringazi) in St. Louis.

Donald served his country and was a veteran of the Marines.

Donald was united in marriage to Ettie (Presnell) on May 10, 1963 in Union.

He retired from Dave Sinclair Ford after 40 plus years as an auto mechanic.

Donald was a member of the St. Clair Twirlers Club, Buttons and Bows of Washington and member of Cub Scout Troop 449.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling and tinkering around. Donald's favorite show was "All in the family". Most of all Donald loved spending time with his family.

Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Ettie (Arlene) Blanton; his parents, Waring and Florence Blanton; brother, Robert Blanton.

He is survived by two sons, Mark Blanton and wife Kim of St. Clair and Eddie Jacobs and girlfriend Gloria Harshfield of Union; one daughter, Debbie Duffer and husband David of Illinois; one sister, Juanita Grimm and husband Bob of St. Clair; nine grandchildren, Tiffany, Alicia, Brittany, Courtney, Jeremy, Jessica, Jonathan, Jasmine and Jireh; eighteen great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
