Don E. Zahner was born in St Louis Mo on Jun 17, 1952, and was reunited with his late wife Diana L Zahner in the early morning on May 4, 2019 at the age of 66 in Ballwin Mo.

Don was United in marriage to Diana L Zahner (Scharfenberg) on December 31, 1984 in Union Mo.

Don spent his career as an IT Specialist for the United States Department of Defense for over 34 years.

He and his late wife raised 5 children together in Catawissa Mo, Clayton Maxwell of St Louis, Jennifer Love (CJ) of Pacific, Jonathan Zahner (Katie) of Ballwin, Elizabeth Plunk (Billy) of Pacific and Micheala Zahner of Columbia Mo. They enjoyed spending time with their 10 grandchildren, Corynthian Maxwell, Kassidy Shelton, Elissa Love, Katelyn Love, Brendan Shelton, Wyatt Plunk, Pierce Love, Liam Love, Adeline Zahner, Wesley Plunk, Emma Zahner, and Waylon Plunk and one great grandson Eli Meister.

Don enjoyed duck hunting, and fishing for crappie at Truman Lake where he spent a lot of time.

Don was preceded in death by his late wife Diana, his mother Dorothy Zahner (Wingron) one uncle Edward Wingron, one aunt Eileen Wingron and a son in law Rickie Shelton.

He is survived by all 5 children, his 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson, his father Nick Zahner sister Debbie Niemeyer (Bill) one uncle Richard Wingron (Jeanne) many many cousins, brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews and friends and family.
