Don Steis of St. Clair, MO was born July 1, 1961, in St. Louis, MO; the son of James Steis and his wife, Dorothy (Buban). Don passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the age of 63 years.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, James and Dorothy Steis; and three granddaughters: Audrey Light, Carley Light, and Jordan Light.

He is survived by one daughter, Monica Steis and fiancé, Marty Light of Union; one son, Nicholas Steis of Union; one brother, Michael Steis and wife Gina of St. Louis; one sister, Linda Lippert and husband Michael of St. Louis; three grandchildren: Eli Delmain, Carter Light, and Brandy Light; his former wife, Theresa Steis of Union; and many other relatives and friends.
