Donald "Don" Eugene Jeffries of Villa Ridge, MO was born June 10, 1933; the son of Ollie Jeffries and his wife, Vivian (Wilken).  Don passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at the age of 90 years.

He was united in marriage to Loretta (Price) on March 21, 1953 at Central Baptist Church in Eureka, and the couple was just shy of celebrating their 71st wedding anniversary. Don worked as a tree trimmer for 45 years at Shade Tree Service Co., first as a tree trimmer, then as a supervisor, before his retirement in 1995.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, doing yardwork, and attending Bluegrass Festivals with Loretta. Don's greatest delight in life was his family, and he loved spending time with them, and playing with his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Vivian Jeffries; two brothers: James Jeffries and Lloyd Jeffries; one sister, Carol Smith; and one grandson, Josh Jeffries.

He is survived by his loving wife, Loretta Jeffries of Villa Ridge; one son, Donald Jeffries Jr. of Robertsville; three daughters: Brenda Daniel and husband Dale of Pacific, Karen Wideman and husband Daryl of Pacific, and Lori Hill and husband Trevor of Labadie; one sister, Wanda Johnston of Florissant; seven grandchildren: Christopher Daniel, Jeremy Daniel, Joe (Rachel) Wideman, Andrea (Andy) Vaughn, Jacob (Rachel) Hill, Lacie (Reid) Schaedler, and Madison (Victor) Picazo; twenty-one great-grandchildren: Colton Daniel, Logan Daniel, Dalton Daniel, Sophie Vaughn, Riley Vaughn, Carly Vaughn, Sebastian Vaughn, Maverick Vaughn, Makinley Anson, Haley Wideman, Aliyah Wideman, Bella Wideman, Joey Hill, Maggie Hill, Aaron Hill, Andrew Hill, Olive Schaedler, Laelah Schaedler, Millie Schaedler, Reid Schaedler Jr., and Lenorah Picazo; and many other relatives and friends.
