Diana Sue Powell nee Jones, 64 of St. Clair passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 at her home.

Mrs. Powell, daughter of the late Anthony Jones and wife Doris nee Armistead was born November 20, 1948 in Washington.

On October 14, 1977 she was united in marriage to Jack Powell in Branson. She loved her family, gardening and nature. Most times she could be found lounging on her porch enjoying birds and simplicity of life.

Mrs. Powell was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Doris Jones; her grandson, Baby Jack.

She is survived by her husband Jack Powell of St. Clair; three sons, Mark Powell and wife Sheila of St. Clair, Larry Powell and wife Angie of Washington and Shawn Powell of Brooklyn, New York; two daughters, Stacey Powell of Washington and Missy Powell of St. Clair; one brother, Roger Jones of St. Clair; three sisters, Brenda Schmitt and husband Bill of St. Clair, Nancy Jones of St. Clair and Sandra Anzalone and husband Tony of Union; eight grandchildren, Shannon, Brandon, Evan, Blake, Mason, Hayden, Zachary and Tyler; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
