Dennis Karius of Union, MO was born May 18, 1947 in St. Louis, MO; the son of Alvin Karius and his wife, Evelyn (Laufer). Dennis passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at the age of 76 years. He had a great love for canaries and Clydesdales. For the past 40+ years, Dennis raised canaries, and then took on keeping Clydesdales for the past 10 to 15 years.  He also enjoyed sailing in his sailboat whenever he got the chance.

Dennis was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Karius; and his father Alvin (Rose Marie) Karius.

He is survived by his wife, Eileen (Zupan) Karius of Union; one brother, Steve Karius and wife Terri of Camdenton, MO; one sister, Linda Harvey and husband Mike of Holts Summit, MO; one niece, Amanda Monette and husband Nick of Alpine, CA.; two great-nieces, one great-nephew, and many other relatives and friends.
