Denise Elaine Rogers (Waterworth), 72, of Union passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022 at her home after a long illness.

Denise, daughter of Denver Waterworth and wife Leonette (Stubblefield) was born January 4, 1950 in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Denise received her education in Lebanon, Missouri and later transferred to Union High School where she graduated. She continued her education in cosmetology and started her own salon. Later she went to work at the Franklin County Assessor's office as a Real Estate Appraiser and retired after 10 years.

On April 20, 1968 she was united in marriage to Donald Rogers in Union and were blessed with two children.

Denise was preceded in death by her parents, Denver and Leonette Waterworth; her daughter, Jamie Rogers and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chester and Lu Rogers.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Donald Rogers of Union; one son, Keith Rogers and wife Angie of Union; two grandchildren, Brittany Rogers of Union and Nick Rogers of Union; three sisters, Rita Fulcher and husband Jimmy of Athens, GA, Deana Park of Springfield, MO and Regina Lause and husband Kenny of Union; one sister-in-law, Sue Rogers-Hiatt of St. Clair; two brother's-in-law, Charlie Rogers of Lake Sherwood and Bill Rogers and wife Patty of Union; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
