Denise Cottrell nee Cerella, 74 of Annandale, Virginia passed away Sunday, January 3, 2010 at her home.

Mrs. Cottrell, daughter of the late Louis Cerella and wife Emma nee Zieger was born October 3, 1935 in Pacific, Missouri.

On September 30, 1961 she was united in marriage to Jerry Cottrell in Pacific, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Emma Cerella; two brothers, Cliff Jones and Vernon "Bud" Jones.

Mrs. Cottrell is survived by her husband, Jerry Cottrell of Annandale, Virginia; two daughters, Jerise Mares of Manchester, New Hampshire and Jeneth Blackert and husband Joe of Austin, Texas; one sister, Elizabeth Lynch of Pacific; four grandchildren, Jason Blackert, Shaye Mares, Camron Mares and Julia Blackert; other relatives and many friends.
